Silko is used for silage of corn kernels and whole corn plants

The whole corn plant was ensiled with the application of Silko and a commercial preparation. The quality of the silage was analyzed by the Institute for Animal Husbandry in Belgrade.

The silage quality was rated as VERY GOOD. Using SILKO decreased the butyric and acetic acid and ammonia nitrogen content, and increased the dry material content.

The quality of the silage was rated as VERY GOOD. The silage has high lactic acid and dry material content, and low content of ammonia nitrogen, butyric and acetic acid.
